We must not forget that on the dark eve of NOV,3rd 2007 when a military chief imposed emergency in the country ,all the private channels were showing the movements inside the supreme court ,we witnessed horrific scenes of Dogar taking oath from Musharraf.
As Musharraf was losing his reign on the power and was also engaged in the pacts with Benazir,he decided to promote people who have their loyalties with both PPP and him,A.H,dogar is one and Salman Taseer is another who was made caretaker minister in Punjab.Now Zardari has blessed his loyal soldier with Presidential oath which shows how much zardari believes in merit and equal opportunity

The people of Bhakkar district have elected a chief minister of Punjab and a prime minister of Pakistan in different elections who never visited the area after the elections. Although a goup of local leaders sponcer the occasion and must have been benefited by this gesture but basically the people of Bhakkar elected them and dream of a better Bhakkar but nothing change in this district. It’s requested to the concerning authorities to please consider upgrading Bhakkar as a divisional head quarter by appointing a commissioner to provide better governance facilities and security in the area. There are news that religious violence and drug smuggling is increased in the area recently.Bhakkar has been head quarters of divisional level organization of Thal Development Authority since 1952. TDA was abolish in 1971 on corruption charges against it’s high officials. Bhakkar is also a border district to Dera Ismail Khan and a capital city of Thal desert area-spread in six districts of Punjab. Bhakkar is also a gate way to Punjab and Sind provinces for traffic coming from NWFP/ Pakhtoon khwa and Afghanistan. This route has been used for illegal traffic of all kind and now terrorism is being brought through this gate way to the developed and prosperous areas of Pakistan.
