Two days ago many of our countrymen through the eyes of media witnessed the rivals of past having agreed on achieving a target; holding a long march toward the capital and thus compelling the Islamabad’s diadem to restore the judges and free the democracy.
The justice-crazed group, as called by most of political rivals, initially composed of Imran Khan, Qazi Hussain, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and Aitazaz Ahsan as political elders, got stronger and expects to attract more public support on induction of Nawaz Sharif, a seasoned politician and chief of the second largest party in the parliament.
Fiery speeches of Sharifs, in addition to portraying their pathetic image, are victorious in mesmerizing the masses. According to political analysts, March 12th will see a sea of at least one million people running toward Islamabad. Undoubtedly the government may have developed plans for de-escalating the marching heads; however, speaking over all, the current scenario omens a successful long march with efficacious outcomes. For Khan’s Movement of Justice, the situation is a win-win case since in either case of result the party will be benefiting for being the pioneer in thundering such issue.
Each claiming his action self-motivated with some tentative reason, the team composed of Nawab Raisani, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman and Asfandyar target to bring closer the Sharifs and Zardari. The players are supposed to be Zardari-sponsored since each one is holding an important slot in the government benches. Initially seemed opposing Zardari’s policies, the spiritual premier of the state is calm, perhaps in quandary as whether to go for fame or chair.
By the way, month of March is also hosting 12th Rabi’ul Awal, the birthday of our Holy Prophet (SAW), which is, unfortunately, being given less attention by our media than the march of 12th March. To answer the premature question about who will be feted after long march, the response is a platitude “Wait!”
