Supreme Court of Pakistan has called actions of 3rd Nov,2007 by then Army chief and President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf unconstit
utional.
This is a historic verdict in the history of Pakistan where Judiciary has only validated acts of any usurper or dictator before.
This is a unanimous verdict of 14 member bench of Apex Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad choudhary.
Earlier ,Yesterday ,Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad choudhary in his remarks made it clear that punishing a dictator is not under the authority of Judiciary but of people and elected Parliament.
This decision has stopped PCO judges working working appointed after 3rd Nov ,2007 without the opinion of Chief Justice.
Many people had speculated that Supreme court will nullify the actions of Nov,3rd and this has come true and its a victory for democracy in this country.
