Pakistan is second biggest tea importer in the world and each citizen consumes about 1 kg Tea every year costing over US$200 million .
At a time when 2 crore population of our country is affected and displaced by massive floods in the country and government is crying for more and more money it should first set the example buy not only utilizing its money but also make more money available by cutting the imports of goods like tea,and sugar e.tc.
You haven’t ever heard people dying without Tea or sugar but people are dying of hunger in remote areas of Pakistan affected by massive floods.
The major portion of our population is still living an unaffected life in big cities . This is the time to stop imports of such luxury items of day to day use.
There should be ways used by government that don’t hurt already hurt people in displaced areas and also those whose daily income don’t allow any more tax paying.

A brief but thought provoking read that demands a ban on imports that can be substituted by other things. The overall figure of flood affectees is over 20 million and we need to cut down our expenses to help them.
