Though Pakistan is T20 World champion and our boys are confident enough to win this tournament as well but only if they believe in themselves.
Our team is a young team and we have great fast bowling attack especially after the inclusion of M.Asif it is more strengthened , more over Rana Naveed can also be handy on South African fast pitches.
Though our Opening combination is yet not final like so many years , Opening plays key role for any successful team and every team has specialized opening pair in todays cricket but unfortunately we have no such pair.
Salman Butt is a specialized opener but he seldom performs ,therefore it is big risk for us to send Shoaib malik and Kamran Akmal as openers because both are not natural openers and failure of them put whole side under pressure.
Our Middle order is strong but middle order needs pace from openers, it is openers who set the pace for an innings.
Our crunch match will be against India on 26th and if we manage to win that match it will be a great moral booster for our boys.
Knowing the capabilities of our young players we can expect them to reach final and if they worked hard we can win also but for this team needs united efforts and fast bowlers and batsmen need to be in form and Afridi can play most crucial role in this tournament from Pakistan . He is certainly an improved cricketer now.
