Following is the brief contrast of events following 9th march and events following the Chief Justice dogar’s daughters story.

Since  Ansaar Abbsi first broke the news of Chief Justice Dogar daughter’s increase in numbers in rechecking, there seems an old tussle growing up again. We all remember on what factors Musharraf erupted 9th March 07 and what was the behavior of government after Chief Justice got restored on July 20. Following the events since this news broke out one clearly remembers the events of post 9th march,07.

It is rightly said”History repeats itself” and history is repeating itself . There were politicians blaming a chief justice and there are politicians calling for Chief Justice resignation but the faces has changed. Most people agree that Dogar was never a man to become a Chief Justice of this country and he never could if the dark evening of Nov,3 07 hasn’t approached.

It is heartening to know for some of us that Standing Committee on Education took this matter ,otherwise, if there have been a military ruler ,the results might have ben very different and mass agitation on roads might have caused some troubles for any government in charge. We are seeing wha is actually the difference between a military government and a democratic government.

If we see the role of government in all this scenario, it looks awkward, government is supporting Chief Justice and surely government cant stop proceedings of House Committee. The government must take some clear stand as far as this matter is concerned and establish rule of law and not become partial in any sense.

Some circles are predicting the solution of Judiciary is soon going to take place and deputy Attorney general has just said yesterday”The case of restoration of Judiciary is soon going to be solved” , some people are predicting that the retirement of Chief Justice Dogar in March might bring some good news for lawyers movement and there may be some unexpected decisions from government side.

WASHINGTON - MAY 10: U.S. President George W...

Mr.Bush gets a great farewell in Iraq when a journalist throwed shoe twice at Bush which he ducked successfully.

On his surprise farewell visit to Iraq Bush deserves those surprise gift from Al-Baghdadia TV correspondent who might not have great throw but he made our attention how heinous Yankees can be and its exactly what they deserve.

Bush remarked joking”it was size 10″all i can report. Journalist shouted after this “This is a farewell kiss, you dog”.

This may not be happiest moment in Bush’s Presidency but this is an expression that people want U.S forces out from iraq as soon as possible.

President Elect Obama have already pledged to end Iraq war but this is a good lesson for him as well because his focus on Afghanistan might cause to happen same with him in Afghanistan.

Obama  should also sought a way to get out of Afghanistan as soon as possible at least in his 2nd term if not first. Americans have done far more crimes and murders in Afghanistan than in Iraq.

Bush might have learned a great lesson from this incident and perhaps never visit Iraq again in his life time.

Patras Bokhari was a writer, diplomat’s diplomat , teacher ,a representative and a fabulous administrator.bokari ,patras

Dec,5,08 was his 50th death anniversary passed quietly and no paper and no Tv gave it a space in his news column or news bulletin. It is great shame for all of us that we didn’t remember such a great man of our country.

Patras Bokhari did his matriculation in 1912 and after doing B.Sc in Physics from Government college Patras done masters in English Literature and achieved gold medal and he achieved the same from Cambridge as well.

A man of flawless eloquence and endurance served as Pakistan’s first envoy to Unites Nations.

His speech may not as fiery as Bhutto but most rational and full of arguments. Once Sir Gladwyn Jebb ,famous for his speech considered only second to Sir Winston Churchill was arguing to Patras at U.N ,after long arguments Bokhari said ” We are all proud of Common wealth of which both my country and yours are member ,Sir Gladwyn is calling me a tortoise and himself a rabbit but i am proud to say that if ostriches are found in Britain they are not found in my country”. This brought Sir Gladwyn to his knees and said”Sir ,i confess defeat ,you are diplomats diplomat”.

Bokhari was also famous for his wit and some people argue if he had not been assigned the task of U.N ,his writings would have made great addition to Urdu literature.

Last December witnessed a landmark tribute to Patras Bokhari when Government College University launched a Web Site of Bokhari WWW.PATRASBOKHARI.COM which is fully updated web site and contain every thing about Bokhari.

Bokhari suffered first heart attack in 1953 after which he became very weak and Patras Bokhari died on Dec,5,08 and laid to rest in New york.

Jamat Ud Dawa Operation; Is This Elected Government

Pakistan Government has Banned a charity organization Jamat Ud Dawa and has put its head Hafiz Saeed under house arrest on the orders of United Nations.

While it is shocking to know that why Government bowed to the U.N resulution and Indian pressure it is also deep shocking for the millions in Pakistan that Jamat Ud Dawa is a sololely a charity organization and it has nothing to do with LET.

Yesterday,Hafiz Saeed speaking to BBC Barbara Plett said, U.N has again acted out of bias against muslims and he also vowed to fight the sanctions and siad will consult high court .

It is  a fact that Jamat ud Dawa is totally a charity organization and it has nothing to do with Lashkar e Tayibba and there are thousands of people who contribute to this Organization and freezing its accounts mean freezing public money .

But most serious question  is how can Our government can ban such a big charity organization on the orders of U.N . The same U.N which India never gave importance when it proves a resolution to independent voting in occupied kashmir.

Moreover,America never feels need of U.N mandate for invading a sovereign country Iraq, then why Pakistani government subdued to the demands of Indian pressed United Nation. Moreover,by going to United Nation India has also dis valued its long time commitment that there should be no third party between the relations of two countries.

Now,if India has approached United nations Pakistan should also raise voice for poor Kashmiris who have long been kept deprived of basic human rights.

It is the time to stop Indian hierarchy and take strong action to keep India in its limits because this is in the interest of both countries.

American President-elect barack Obama has nominated Sen.Hillary Clinton as his Sec of State .

While introducing her Obama said she was the best choice for this position and  she proved a tough campaigner against me.

American media is scary of the role of Her husband Bill Clinton because she has spent 8 long years as first lady and it will not be easy for her to now act as independent .

Meanwhile ,Bill Clinton said he will be happy to help Obama if requested but he will not have any role in her wife decision making process and will play role of sound board instead.

Hillary is a senior Senator and by appointing her as Sec of State Obama has actually injected biggest dissenting voice in his cabinet  as his commerce secretary Bill Richardson an early droppper from Presidential run.

keeping in mind the experience of Obama and his cabinet persond it will not be easy at all to make decisions because almost all of them are senior them him and a junior President has to struggle hard to ensure others of his point.

No Pakistani Should Be Handed To India

As the immediate tension has diffused between Pakistan and India after the Mumbai attacks , India has provided a list of Pakistanis to be handed over .

India foreign minister has said “our any step depends on Pakistani response “,Meanwhile , President Zardari speaking to CNN has said “India has provided names of people but no proof”.

These are the same people which India demanded to hand over after the Indian parliament attack in 2001 but Pakistan never handed over.

Pakistan must remember that the meaning of handing any Pakistani to India will be a surrender before war and this will not be accepted by Pakistani people . One must not even think of it.

India hasnt provided proof of  these people involved in Mumbai attacks . Indians may have some evidence of Lashkar-e-tayibba involvement in Occupied Kashmir but that not Pakistan problem.

India was often used to accuse of Pakistan of Infiltration taking place  from across the border but since India has made a blockade there this argument cannot be raised any more. Now ,if there are still people in Kashmir, they are all indigenous people .

U.S Secretary of State Condiliza Rice visit to India was to sympathize with India and she also asked Pakistan to help India but she would have asked Indians why you are not persuading to get help from Pakistan.

India’s body language after this incident is that of a boss in the region and the vulgar language Indian media used immediately after this incident is shameful. India must remember that Pakistan is a resilient nation and 61 years history has proved it.
