Numl student outshines in Beijing athletics
Amjad Saddique, 23, a scholarship awardee of National University of Modern Languages (NUML) won three medals in ‘Beijing Inter Universities Athletic Competition’ held at Beijing Language and Culture University.
Amjad has no doubt showed his passion for the country and his university as well as Pakistani government must honor him with big prizes to promote the sports in Pakistan.
Amjad, son of Mohammad Siddique, scored two silvers in 800 meters race and 400 meters relay race respectively and won one bronze medal in 400 meter race, said a news release issued from Beijing.
Amjad is the first Pakistani student achieving such a pride by outperforming Chinese athletes in Beijing Athlete Competition.

Amjad was declared best athlete of Beijing Language and Culture University after achieving three distinctions during the athletic championship.
He earned honor and respect for Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) and also ensuring pride for NUML being a scholarship awardee of the home university in Islamabad.
