Nov ,3rd: a Dark day in Pakistan History

Nov 3rd actions by our military chief have such deep repercussions that even after one year they haven’t been addressed fully.

It was just a cool evening last year when news channels compelled everyone to sit in front and watch the destruction in front of their eyes.

Bloody Army chief had imposed emergency in the country and removed Chief justice of a country through his own personal orders bypassing constitution and law of the land.

Chief justice and two chief justices of Provincial courts were dismissed along with 60 independent judges who imposed a threat to the military rule of Musharraf.

Not only this but all the political leaders of the country were detained in their houses and renowed people of civil society were also detained in their houses voilating the law of the land .

The top most judges including the chief justice were kept arrested in their houses for 5 months until the new democratic government took charge.

After the prolonged pressure from elected government the military dictator has to retreat and thus resigned on August 18 ending the bloody rule of 9 years .
