U.S approved Kerry-Lugar bill for Pakistan is getting strong criticism from Pakistan Parliament as opposition has vowed to never approve it with current pre-requisites as it undermines Pakistan sovereignity and pride and Pakistan opposition calls it a direct U.S involvement in Pakistan internal relations as Pakistan Army has also expressed strong reservations on its pre-requisites.
But contrary to the view point of Pakistan Opposition parties,Pakistan media and Pakistan civil society, Pakistan Federal goverenment led by Asif Ali Zardari who is also Chairman of ruling PPP Party has not expressed any thing against it but rather accepted these terms and conditions described in Kerry lugar bill.
Pakistan Parliament is discussing Kerry Lugar bill these days and there is staunch opposition of this bill even some allied parties of Government has also rejected the Kerry Lugar bill calling it intrusive.
Pakistan Ambassador to U.S Hussain Haqqani is the chief architect of this bill who never wanted to change any condition of this bill infact protecting U.S interests more than his native country Pakistan.
Pakistan general Public has also raised grave concerns on this bill and called it against the interests of Pakistan. As a result U.S President Obama has delayed his signatures on this bill. U.S Ambassador to Pakistan Patterson has called it mistake of language and she assured to change it but there remain strong concerns of Pakistani people on the intentions of U.S towards Pakistan.
