Jahangir Tareen new political party
Jahangir Tareen, former federal minister in PML-Q regime is going to launch a new
political party in September comprising same old faces but having a clean corruption free record as politicians.
Most members have worked under Musharaf rule but Tareen is consistent to bring a positive change in the country even with old faces which haven’t deliver before.
Main purpose of Tareen’s party is to form an election alliance with Imran Khan’s led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to oust the dirty PPP and PML-N candida
tes from the existing power structure. While this might seems good idea for majority of Pakistan population, it seems a mighty task and both parties have to work hard to achieve any substantial results in the upcoming polls.

Though it is early to predict whether names like Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Marvi Memon join this party Tareen said Qureshi, Marvi and Mian Mohammad Azhar are inclined to join the party of “The Clean”.
To bring a change with same old people sounds little distressing but as they say a pack of dogs lead by a lion can beat a much bigger army of lions led by a dog. If
there is a brave leader in this country today it is none other than Imran Khan and in case the alliance of both parties wins a substantial seats in Parliament and able to form government, it should be under Imran Khan’s leadership.
The prevailing political situation of Pakistan demands a third strong political force in the country that can replace the politics of arrogance, corruption and of some families with good governance and effective strategy to counter the challenges ahead and facing right now.
While Imran Khan surely has raised himself to the occasion it is yet to be seen how his party gets the response from the public of Pakistan who is bitten now thrice by failed PPP government. People of Pakistan should boycott PPP and
PML-N in coming elections and vote for a third strong political party which can do the damage control and can lead Pakistan to a desired path by its people.

Excellent! populace of Pakistan are looking forward to get rid of sharifs and I am sure PTI & cleans is the right combination to do that. Cleans have already proved their worth during Musharraf rule when governance was the best.

It is a welcome step by Jahangir Tareen. All other ‘clean’ persons who really want to change the destiny of Pakistan are advised to join the files of Imran Khan, instead of making their own individual political parties. In this way they can conserve their resources and achieve meaningful objectives, in the best interest of the nation. My advice is same for Sheikh Rashid Ahmad of Awami Muslim League and others.
