Federer Embraces History By Win At French Open

World no 2 Swiss Roger Federer embraced history when he defeated Sweden Roben Soderling comprehensively in straight sets.

This is only Federer’s first win in his previous 3 meetings in the final against Spanish Rafael Nadal.

This victory makes Federer only 6th man in history to win all four grand slams and also equals him with Pete Sampras all time record of 14 grand slam titles.
