Dengue fever hits Punjab

Dengue fever is full swing in Punjab capital Lahore and daily deaths are being reported in various hospitals. According to one report around 11,000 patients are reported infected with fever in Punjab and number is rising with every day.

Punjab government has invited a team of Srilankan experts to control the problem but the solution lies within. Only after patients started with every passing day Punjab government took the matter seriously.

Instead of informing the people for taking better cautions to prevent themselves from infections, Whole Punjab machinery is bust in providing the health care to patients.

Instead of addressing the issue on one time basis Punjab government should take notice to prevent any such outbreak in coming years by making the sewerage system effective. All the nullahs passing through city must be covered and an effective plan must be sought out to rescue the citizens from any further attacks.
